Every balloon type floats for a different length of time, so the exact estimate for each product is in its product description. Here is the general overview for Malaysia.
These are estimated minimums, not guarantees. Helium balloons don’t pop at a set time. They slowly lose helium and shrink, and how quickly depends on the temperature, how they’re handled and even how full each balloon was inflated. In our own tests, the same balloon can last noticeably longer one day than the next. That’s why we give you a reliable minimum, which your balloons will often beat.

Why Do Balloons with Text Last a Little Shorter?
Your text is cut from vinyl and applied to the balloon. As a balloon slowly shrinks, its surface gets smaller and can fold slightly, and the vinyl can start to wrinkle or lift. Longer text and thicker fonts use more vinyl, which also adds weight. That’s why the times for personalised balloons are shorter.
How Do I Make My Balloons Last Longer?
- Keep them indoors in a cool, air-conditioned room, but not directly under the air-conditioner, as the airflow pushes them down.
- Avoid direct sunlight and heat, for example in a parked car.
- Avoid moving them in and out, since frequent temperature changes shorten their life.
- Handle them gently. If children play with them, they won’t last as long.
- Time your delivery or pickup close to your event, especially for latex balloons.
