Our Story
PartyPerfect didn’t start in a shop. It started in an office. At a corporate job, decorating the company’s events turned out to be the part we looked forward to most: the colours, the balloons, the moment people walked in and smiled. So in 2017 we turned that into a side project, on a shoestring budget, from one tiny room in our house in Kuala Lumpur.
We’re a wife and husband team, and we built it with our own money and our own hands:
- She brings a background in fashion design and an eye for colour and proportion. That’s why our balloon bouquets look curated, not just tied together. She also runs operations and customer service.
- He comes from the technical side. He built the website and the systems behind it, and later took on the advertising and search.
Our idea was simple, and at the time nobody in Malaysia was doing it. Instead of going to a party shop and picking balloons one by one, you could choose a beautifully designed, personalised helium balloon bouquet online and have it delivered to the door, the same day.
People loved it. The tiny room became the whole first floor of our house, and the two of us became a team of up to nine. When we’d outgrown the house, and our own family had grown too, we moved into our own shop in Taman Desa, where we still are today.
WHAT WE DO
Since then we’ve delivered more than 40,000 orders to over 30,000 customers across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya: helium balloon bouquets, personalised balloons, fresh flowers, cakes and gifts.
Most of our balloons you can personalise yourself, right on the product page: colours, names, messages, numbers, even photos. For the bigger moments we build balloon arches, garlands and room surprises, from a first birthday at home to a proposal at the Grand Hyatt. We also print logo balloons for companies’ launches and events.
HOW WE WORK
There are a few things we’ve never compromised on:
- Pure helium, never hydrogen. Some sellers still use hydrogen because it’s cheaper. It’s also flammable. We won’t.
- Hi-Float in every latex balloon, at no extra cost, so your latex balloons float about twice as long.
- Premium balloons only: professional decorator brands like Sempertex, Anagram and Betallic, and properly licensed character designs, not copies.
- What you see is what you get. Our photos show our own work, and every product page tells you how long it will float.
- Real people who answer. Since 2017 you’ve been able to reach us on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, phone and email, with longer hours than most shops, in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.
- If something goes wrong, we fix it: replace, refund or reimburse, always.
MAKING IT SPECIAL
The part we still love most is when it becomes personal, the same feeling that started all this at those office events. Tell us your idea, your theme or just the colour of the dress. We’ll help you plan it, tell you honestly what works and what doesn’t, and source the things we don’t stock. The party you’ve been dreaming about, we can and will make it come true.
