Are balloons safe for children? What about latex allergies?

  • Children: Uninflated or popped balloon pieces can be a choking hazard for young children. Adults should supervise children under 8 and pick up burst pieces right away.
  • Latex Allergy: Choose foil balloons (hearts, stars, circles, numbers, Orbz and SuperShapes) or bubble balloons. Foil balloons are latex-free, and bubble balloons are made of a polymer, also latex-free.
  • Helium: Never inhale it. It’s non-toxic but displaces oxygen. Helium safety
  • After the Party: Please don’t release helium balloons outside. Pop them and put them in the bin.
