Deepavali Gifts in KL: Balloons and Flowers Delivered the Same Day

Deepavali falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026 this year, with Monday 9 November as the replacement public holiday in KL and Selangor. That makes it a long weekend of open houses, family visits and plenty of guests at the door.

Whether you’re visiting a friend’s open house, thanking a colleague’s family for having you, or sending wishes to someone you can’t visit this year, a gift that arrives looking bright and festive says a lot. Here’s how to choose one, and how to make sure it gets there on time.

1. Choose bright, festive colours

When choosing a Deepavali gift, colour matters more than for almost any other occasion. The Festival of Lights is about brightness: gold, orange, yellow, red, deep pink and purple all feel right, and they look wonderful next to oil lamps and marigolds.

Many Hindu families see black as inauspicious and associate all-white arrangements with mourning, so we steer Deepavali gifts away from black-and-white colour schemes.

That’s why these are the bouquets we recommend for Deepavali:

Each one is built around a 20″ Deco Bubble, which floats for 3+ days, so it still looks its best when the last guests arrive.

2. Add a personal Deepavali greeting

A bouquet that says “Happy Deepavali, Aunty Priya!” or “Happy Deepavali from the Tan family” means far more to the host than a generic gift.

That’s why every bubble bouquet comes with a personalised bubble balloon: you choose the text, the font and the colour, and we make it in-house in Taman Desa. Personalised balloons are still delivered within 3 hours if you order before 4pm.

Keep the greeting short so it reads well in photos. A name and one line of wishes is plenty.

3. Flowers for the host, or balloons and flowers together

Not every host wants balloons, and flowers are a classic Deepavali gift for the home.

That’s why we make every bouquet fresh for each order, with same-day delivery when you order by 4pm:

For both in one gift, see our Balloons & Flowers bundles. Our bouquets come wrapped, so the host doesn’t need a vase straight away; a light spritz of water keeps them fresh.

4. Time the delivery around the open house

On Deepavali itself, hosts are busy cooking, greeting relatives and answering the door. When choosing a delivery time, think about when someone will actually be free to take the gift.

That’s why we suggest:

  • Deliver the morning before guests arrive. The balloons then become part of the décor for the whole day. Our early 9–11am slot (RM25) is ideal; order by 8pm the day before. There are only a few early slots each day, so book ahead.
  • Put down a recipient who will answer the phone. Our drivers always phone the recipient on arrival. If nobody can be reached within 15 minutes, the order returns to our shop, and re-delivery costs an extra RM12 plus the delivery fee again.
  • Bringing it yourself? Collect it from our shop in Taman Desa on the way. Self-pickup starts from 10am; on Sundays, the last pickup slot is 4–4.30pm.

5. Book early for the long weekend, or order today by 4pm

Deepavali weekend is one of the busiest of the year, and the morning slots go first.

That’s why you can book up to 60 days ahead and pick your date and time slot at checkout, including Deepavali itself and the Monday holiday. If you’ve left it late, you can still order by 4pm for same-day delivery: we deliver all balloons, including personalised ones, within 3 hours.

We deliver across KL, Selangor and Putrajaya, up to 50 km from our shop in Taman Desa.

Hosting an open house yourself?

We also make balloon garlands and stands for the entrance or the living room. Message us on WhatsApp with your colours and date, and book early: setups for the long weekend fill up fast.
