Buying a helium tank in KL
If you’re filling balloons yourself, you need to know two things: how many balloons one tank really fills, and that what’s inside is actually helium. Tips for the best results
- Fill latex balloons on the day of the party. Untreated latex balloons filled at home float for less than a day.
- Foil balloons hold helium far longer, often for days.
- Never inhale helium from the tank or the balloons.
Questions about the helium tank
Can the tank be refilled?
No. It’s a disposable, one-time-use tank, which is why there’s no deposit or return.
Is it safe to use at home?
Yes. Helium is non-flammable and non-toxic, but it must never be inhaled. More on helium safety.
Tank or ready-filled balloons?
For a few balloons delivered to one place, our ready-filled helium balloons with Hi-Float will float longer. For larger numbers, filling on site, or your own balloons, the tank is simpler.
Can you fill my own balloons instead?
